FOOD SAFETY
Despite the previous multi-stakeholder efforts and some tangible improvements in late 2010s, food safety — a subject approachable only with the involvement of all stakeholders — has been an increasingly neglected topic in Myanmar food systems due to the lack of appetite to adhere to the central institutions. As the nation needs more local production with increased limitations for imports, food safety — once again — becomes a pressing issue to collectively solve urgently.

NUTRITION
Nutrition insecurity in Myanmar is deepening, as families face shrinking incomes, displacement, and limited access to diverse diets. Locally produced, affordable, nutrient-rich foods are critical to meeting urgent needs. This track explores how food businesses, SMEs, and partners can innovate with nutri-dense products, improve accessibility, and collaborate with humanitarian and development actors to sustain nutrition for vulnerable communities while strengthening local markets.

CLIMATE RESILIENCE
Farmers and food businesses are facing the compounded pressures of floods, droughts, soil degradation, and soaring input costs. Building climate resilience is no longer optional—it is essential for survival. This track focuses on practical, locally relevant strategies: nature-based solutions, renewable energy, smarter water use, and climate-smart agriculture that can protect livelihoods, stabilize supply chains, and keep food systems functioning under uncertainty.
